Understanding Virgin and Raw Hair

RAW HAIR

Raw hair is completely natural and has not undergone any steaming or chemical processing.

  • Collected from a single donor for a consistent and authentic look.
  • Can be easily colored or bleached, achieving up to level #613.
  • Double-drawn from multiple donors to ensure thickness and volume.
  • May appear frizzy, puffy, or coarse when dry, mimicking the texture of real, untreated hair.
  • Lasts 3.5 to 4+ years with proper care, offering long-term durability.
  • The ideal choice for long-lasting, high-quality, natural-looking hair.

VIRGIN HAIR

Virgin hair, on the other hand, is chemically or steam-processed and collected from multiple donors. A light silicone coating is applied to give it a shinier appearance.

  • Features a silky, smooth appearance when new due to the added coating.
  • Does not bleach well and typically lifts only up to level #27.
  • Less affected by weather conditions thanks to the processing.
  • Lasts 1 to 2.5 years, making it a good option for short-term or occasional use.

Important Information:

  • Raw bone-straight, Burmese, pixie, or kinky curly textures do NOT naturally exist.
  • Bone straight hair is prone to tangling, requiring extra maintenance.
  • Frontals are very delicate and must be handled with care to prevent the threads from loosening.

How to Manage Your Bundles Effectively

Braid your hair when not in use, especially before going to bed.

If used frequently, wash your hair once per week using both silicone shampoo and Silicon Mix. Always use both products together for the best results.

When brushing, always start from the ends and work your way up to prevent tangles.

Stick to using only one brand or type of product to maintain consistency and avoid damage.
